The man who killed mum-of-three Clair Ablewhite is due to be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, January 4. John Jessop,, was previously told by a judge he was likely to be given a life sentence in prison.
Ms Ablewhite was fatally stabbed at a house in Hall Lane, in the leafy village of Colston Bassett, on the evening of Friday, February 25, last year. He body was discovered by police officers the following day. In October, Jessop, aged 26 and of Regal Lodge, Sherwood Avenue, inThe question to be determined is just how long Jessop will have to serve before his case could even be considered for parole, which is due to be decided on Wednesday.
