CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland has a strong network of nonprofit organizations that serve small businesses, but there is room to strengthen the city’s ecosystem of government, philanthropies and business service organizations, the Urban Institute said in a new report.
The Washington, D.C.-based institute said it conducted nearly four dozen interviews with leaders from local government, business support organizations , philanthropic organizations, chambers of commerce, lenders and small-business owners to write its report, The Urban Institute, which is dedicated to elevating the debate on social and economic policy, also did a quantitative analysis of small-business investment in Cleveland.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
