Officers are concerned about Zayn and have issued an appeal for help to trace him
The boy, named only as Zayn, went missing this morning . He was last seen at around 10.20am on Stanley Grove.
Police have not revealed Zayn's age but confirmed he is a schoolboy. He was last seen wearing his white school t-shirt, with black joggers, orange socks and black trainers.Officers said he was also wearing a black balaclava with a skull on that covered his mouth. Zayn is described as being British Pakistani and around 4ft tall with a 'stocky build'.
Sharing a picture of the boy on social media, Greater Manchester Police appealed for anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. "We are concerned about Zayn and want to make sure he is safe and well", police said.Read more of today's top stories here
