Anyone who sees Dylan Scanlan has been advised not to approach him under any circumstances. They should instead call 999 immediately, said a force spokesperson in an appeal today .
The 18-year-old, who has links to Preston, is wanted in connection with an investigation into an assault causing actual bodily harm. Lancashire Constabulary said he also uses the name, or a combination of the names, Dillon Scanlon.Scanlan is described as 6ft tall with a slim build and short brown hair. Officers say he also has a scar on his left thumb.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to get in touch with Lancashire Constabulary. In a statement on social media this afternoon, a force spokesperson said: "Have you seen wanted Dylan Scanlan? Scanlan, 18, is wanted in connection with an investigation into an assault causing actual bodily harm.
"He also uses the name, or a combination of the names, Dillon Scanlon. Scanlan is 6ft, a slim build with short brown hair."If you see Scanlan, do not approach him, but call 999. Anyone with information can contact us on 101 quoting log 1589 of 22nd March."
