Urgent Police Scotland appeal to trace missing man from Edinburgh

Aydin Dogan, 42, has not been seen or heard from since 4pm on Friday.

Aydin Dogan, 42, was last seen in the Portobello area of the capital at around 4pm on Friday, September 6. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Officers from Police Scotland say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Aydin is described as around 5ft 10in tall, of a medium build, with short grey/black hair, a grey/black beard and has an English accent. When Aydin was last seen, he was wearing a dark jacket, white t-shirt, dark trousers and black and white trainers. Officers are appealing for help from the public to trace him.

Inspector Sean McGarvey, Craigmillar Police Station, said: “It’s vital we trace Aydin as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well.
