US Covid deaths increase by 13% with 1,953 Americans dying from the virus daily
Covid deaths in the U.S are continuing to rise despite recent case declines, up 13% over the past two weeks with 2,479 more cases added to the ledger on Thursday. More than 2,000 Covid deaths have been recorded in the U.S. for the third consecutive day - the first time since the week of Christmas.
