IRAN has now taken credit for the devastating rocket attack that hit the al-Asad airbase in Iraq which housed US troops, according to sources.
A commander in the nearby town of al-Baghdadi, Qatri al-Obeidi said that the shelling on the base has now stopped. Vice President Mike Pence also visited the base in November last tear.
