Newly released images reveal the innards of the Chinese spy balloon after it was shot down and seized by the United States military.

Crew members from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group 2 worked from 10am on Sunday and into the night pulling the debris aboard boats in the Atlantic Ocean. Mr VanHerck said the teams undertook precautionary measures in case the airship contained explosives or toxic substances.And now with the balloon retrieved, Mr VanHerck said the FBI and Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents were prepared for counterintelligence work.
The US Navy begun retrieving remnants of the balloon from the Atlantic Ocean a day after it was downed as rough water conditions prevented them heading out to sea sooner. Many have critiqued his delayed action in eliminating the balloon and expect him to face difficult questions from Congress following the speech.
