Boyfriend of pop icon Rihanna is reportedly part of a consortium led by the former lawyer of Donald Trump

Rocky has been linked with being part of a consortium vying to take over at Tranmere Rovers. The artist has reportedly joined forces with Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Joe Tacopina. Rocky, real name Rakim Myers, is one of the most recognisable and influential hip-hop artists of the last decade and is in a relationship with global pop icon Rihanna, with whom he shares two children. A friend and associate of Tacopina, multiple reports claim that the rapper has been tapped up to bring some stardust to the Rovers bid, with a potential documentary series on the horizon.
Rocky himself. The plan for Tacopina’s bid is to try and replicate elements of what has worked at League One side Wrexham, where Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney acquired the club in 2020 and used it as a vehicle for a documentary series that has boomed in popularity on both sides of the Atlantic, particularly appealing to a US audience.
