The Office of Defects Investigation said that it has received two reports involving pedestrian injuries from Cruise vehicles.

US regulators are investigating General Motors’ Cruise autonomous vehicle division after reports of incidents where self-driving cars may not have used proper caution around pedestrians.

It has also identified two additional incidents from videos posted to public websites. The office said the total number of relevant pedestrian incidents is unknown. In August, General Motors’ Cruise unit agreed to cut its fleet of San Francisco robo-taxis in half as authorities investigated two crashes in the city.
