Parents who pay for child care could see some relief from the federal level.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - U.S. Sen. Katie Britt along with Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine introduced a bill that would help parents and child care workers.

“We had to spend an astronomical amount of money to send our daughter and our son to child care,” Britt said. This bill would create a federal tax credit for child care while providing more money in grants for child care programs.“It will start in 2025. It incentivizes employers to invest in child care or give child care benefits to their working parents,” said Mann.
