The military package is one of the largest sent to Israel since the beginning of the war in Gaza, which began after Hamas’s brutal massacre on Oct. 7. The Biden administration had previously said it would hold up some weapons shipments over humanitarian concerns about their use in civilian-populated areas in Gaza.
