'The other guests were a little bit shocked to see him.'
Diners enjoying a meal at Ewe in Westhoughton , Bolton , were shocked when they spotted Usain Bolt tucking into some jerk chicken on Thursday evening . The eight-time Olympic champion had made a surprise visit to the restaurant with a group of friends, including former Bolton Wanderers footballer Ricardo Gardner.
"It's nice to have such a big celebrity come to a suburban area. Normally they go to big city centre restaurants." It's not the first time that Usain has ventured out to Greater Manchester's suburbs for a meal. Two years ago, customers at La Casa in Astley were left amazed when he pitched up for dinner and drinks with friends.
