While many college programs are choosing to shift focus to next season, the Roadrunners see the benefits of their first postseason exposure in 15 years.
After UTSA reached the Conference USA tournament semifinals for the first time in program history last year, Jordyn Jenkins and Kyra White felt a surge of confidence. A Roadrunners program that hadn’t played in a national postseason tournament since 2009 or posted a winning campaign since 2014-15 could be near a breakthrough, showing continued progress under coach Karen Aston.

Part of that process is learning the demands of playing through March, and understanding that spring breaks are meant to be spent in practice rather than at the beach.
