Uvalde Police Department Chief Homer Delgado took to Facebook to disclose the Active Shooter Violent Response Strategies Policy.

A new active shooter protocol was released on Monday by Uvalde Police Department as they continue to enhance their training in the aftermath of the Robb Elementary school shooting.
Chief Delgado says that the policy was put together in conjunction with with the Texas Police Chiefs Association and the ALERRT Program. The plan includes multiple phases, including e-learning course, site visits and multi-agency training exercises. Chief Delgado says many of the changes are already underway and will be documented when all changes are complete.
