The sale of a vacant Largs pub has been confirmed - with the site set to be turned into a restaurant.
The Waterside Bar closed down earlier this summer following the retirement of long-time owner Brian Purdie.
"The buyer was initially attracted to The Waterside Bar because of its ideal location and good size for conversion." Under Brian's 15-year stewardship, the Waterside became well known for its live music offering and provided a home for a live Scottish traditional music session - 'Stoddy's Session' on the last Sunday of every month.
