A young driver fleeing from police allegedly collided into other cars in August 2023, killing one person on the spot.

Right after that, another unit spotted the same vehicle weaving in and out of traffic at high speed. They followed it until reaching a collision site near Springs Road and Tregaskis Ave. The suspect car collided with two other vehicles, police said, and a man in a non-involved vehicle was killed on the spot.
Detectives obtained a warrant for the driver and, on March 20, officers conducted a felony traffic stop and captured the wanted juvenile near the intersection of Ohio and Sutter streets.
