Fans of Belfast's Van Morrison gathered at Cyprus Avenue for a special concert to celebrate his 70th birthday. The concert attracted not only local politicians but also A-list celebrities who flew in for the event. Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, Sex In The City's Kim Cattrall, celebrity chef Rick Stein, and Welsh singer Cerys Matthews were among the stars present. Back in 2015, fans of Belfast 's Van Morrison flocked to the famous Cyprus Avenue for a special concert to mark his 70th birthday. The street had been closed for the day with a massive stage erected at the Beersbridge Road end of the avenue. Among those at the concert included local politicians Arlene Foster and Naomi Long but it was the A Lister's who had flown in for the gig.
