Partick community officers will be ramping up patrols over the next two days in a bid to tackle issues raised by local residents which include vandalism on the bridge and around Riverside Museum.
Police Scotland will be carrying out patrols at the new Govan to Partick footbridge this weekend following reports of "vandalism" and concerns regarding e-bikes.

In a statement shared on X, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "There have been reports of vandalism to the new footbridge and around Riverside Museum as well as complaints about e-bikes. Partick Community Officers will be on foot and cycle patrol this weekend tackling these issues raised by the local community.

One of the longest opening pedestrian/cycle bridges in Europe, the structure connects Water Row on the south side to Pointhouse Quay on the north.
