Vandals blasted for damaging Renfrew remembrance bench

The bench is said to have had its legs bent with it needing repaired as Councillor Jamie McGuire called the act a 'disgrace'.

The bench, which sits beside the town’s war memorial, was first reported to be damaged by Renfrew Rotary on its Facebook page. The non-profit organisation said it was “sad and angry” to report of the vandalism.
