He collapsed, and the next thing he remembers is waking up from a coma after his heart stopped.During his hospitalization, James was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. Doctors discovered that the chemicals from vaping had been accumulating in his lungs, filling them with pus. He faced a harrowing experience, unable to walk or communicate for the first few weeks. His partner, Charlotte, 24, was kept in a state of agonizing uncertainty as doctors fought to save his life. James spent three more months in the hospital recovering from a collapsed lung.Now on the mend, James has only one working lung. He is determined to make changes in his life and prioritize his health.
