Leo Varadkar laughs off Johnson plan to make EU pay for 'interesting' bridge
Ireland’s prime minister has said he will not dismiss the idea of building a bridge between Northern Ireland and Scotland, but insisted the UK must pay for it.Last week the UK prime minister described it as a “very interesting idea”, adding: “Watch this space.” Leo Varadkar said he had discussed the idea with Johnson recently, revealing he told him it was “worth examining”.
