A.Pastry Shop, known for their delicious plant-based and vegetarian treats, have decided to open a second location on Cumbernauld Road, in Glasgow's east end.

A popular vegan bakery has announced they are to open a shop in Dennistoun after 'outgrowing' their current southside location.

The Dennistoun site was previously run by Full Circle Bakes who recently expanded to Victoria Road in the southside. A.Pastry announced the news on Instagram, writing: "We are thrilled to announce that we’re expanding.READ MORE: Glasgow's Strathclyde University hand out award in memory of teen who died from cancer

"But don’t worry, Cathcart! Our beloved take away shop will stay open, because we cherish this community that has been with us from the start. Stay tuned for more updates on our grand opening! We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space and continue serving you the delicious goodies you love."
