Vending machines dispense free short stories for commuters in London
London is this week jumping aboard the bandwagon of an international literary trend: the very, very short story. From Thursday, vending machines in Canary Wharf will be spitting out works of fiction on free paper scrolls that take less than a minute to read, in a bid to improve the commuter experience.
