The annual Venice Film Festival , often dubbed the older sister to the flashier Cannes Film Festival, is back at the iconic Lido of Hotel Excelsior, which plays host to a number of buzzy film premieres this year from Joker: Folie à Deux, to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. With it comes the flurry of A-list celebrities that descended on the floating city via – what else? – water taxis.
Rather than donning giant gowns that can be seen from space, leadings stars tend to opt for classic glamour on the red carpet, sprinkled with effortless looks that showcase their personalities while attending intimate parties off the Lido.
