The 73-year-old political satirist, known for his work with Private Eye magazine, died from a heart attack, his son Paul Husband said.
The Blackpool-born cartoonist had been on his way to a Private Eye party in London when he collapsed on Westminster Bridge, Mr Husband said.He added: "It's somewhat ironic that he somehow managed to survive 30 years of Private Eye parties but this one he didn't make".He also shared the last picture he drew for fellow cartoonist Nick Newman, while others posted their favourite illustrations.This article contains content provided by Twitter.
