The first trophy up for grabs domestically this season enters the business end as the four successful quarter-finalists learn their Hampden fate with just one more game until the showpiece.
The Viaplay Cup takes centre stage this midweek as the eight quarter-finalists battle it out to reach the last four.
The competition will be guaranteed a new winner after Brendan Rodgers and Celtic got eliminated by Kilmarnock at the last 16 stage of the tournament. As the final eight teams dream of lifting the first domestic trophy on offer this season they can take one further large leap by securing a spot in the semi-final and with that book a day out at Hampden.
Kilmarnock and Hearts get the four ties underway in front of the TV cameras at Rugby Park on Tuesday night before this round of the League Cup concludes on Wednesday evening with Rangers hosting Livingston live on Viaplay while Aberdeen visit Ross County after thrashing them at Pittodrie at the weekend while new Hibs boss Nick Montgomery is aiming for a first trip to the national stadium as his side entertain high-flyers St Mirren - who have already won at Easter Road this campaign.
