Victoria and David Beckham have invited the cameras into their normally private life to share their story in their own words - and show they're still very much a couple in love
As Posh and Becks, Victoria and David Beckham were rarely off the front pages of the papers in the 1990s and 2000s. But Brand Beckham has come a long way since then and they’re finally ready to share their story in their own words.
But while the former Spice Girl may have found it hard – back then and while reliving her past anguish – it seems those tough times have helped strengthen the couple’s bond. “The way they’re reflecting on their own relationship journey, exploring the challenges they’ve faced and how they’ve grown together, is like narrative therapy for David and Victoria,” she explains.
Fast forward a few months and Victoria was invited to watch a Manchester United game with her bandmate Melanie Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice, and took the opportunity to meet the “really good-looking boy” she’d seen pictures of in magazines. Their relationship, which was up until then kept under wraps, was eventually discovered by the press, and that was thanks to David’s love of luxury and what’s described in the docuseries as his “have money, spend it, have money, spend it” attitude, as his success snowballed.
