Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has taken to Instagram to share her potential New Year's Eve outfit, a stunning asymmetrical gown from her spring/summer 2025 collection.
It’s never easy knowing what to wear for New Year’s Eve. It’s the sexiest time of year – all sparkles and kisses and new starts – so you want something that matches the vibe you hope you bring. Enter: Victoria Beckham , who appears to have already chosen what she’s wearing for New Year’s Eve. Or at least is headed that way. As seen on her Instagram, a full week before Christmas and another week before the big night, the designer is getting a step ahead and doing the mirror test on a look.
Namely: this full-length asymmetrical gown with rouleau straps and floral lace appliqué. If you recognise the gown – which is one part bridal dressing and two parts underwear-as-outerwear – that’s because it belongs to her own spring/summer 2025 collection. The £1,390 ivory dress, which also comes in black for the goths, is VB’s take on the ’90s slip dress with a floor-length hemline. Really, you could wear this dress anywhere. It’s as much red carpet as it is “three martinis on a Wednesday” – although I wouldn't wear this one to the club with that hem. “So, I am just trying to get ahead of myself, trying to decide what to wear for New Year’s Eve, and I’m loving this cami dress,” the designer said on Instagram. “I love the embroidery detail down the sides with little sequins. Really love it with this cuff. I love the neckline, this really pretty little drape detail here – super flattering.
