Victorian premier Daniel Andrews announced a statewide lockdown from 1pm on Saturday 21 August which extended the rules that applied to Melbourne – except for the evening curfews – across the entire state.that the lockdown, initially scheduled to end at 11.59pm Thursday 2 September, will be extended. The curfew applies to Melbourne from 9pm to 5am every day.In Victoria, you cannot leave your home unless it is for one of five approved reasons – similar to previous lockdowns.
