Video footage has captured the terrifying moment a car flipped onto its roof following a crash on a Scots motorway

The 65-year-old male driver of the car was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy as a precaution. The clip, recorded from the opposite carriageway, shows the car rolling over and landing on its roof as motorists pull to the side of the road and run to the scene to assist the driver. Photographs taken at the scene show the grey car upside down with the passenger door cracked open following the smash on the busy motorway.
