Those driving along the M74 in Glasgow were left stunned as they watched a massive turbine blade travel along the motorway in the early hours of this morning.

Pictures taken of the convoy today show a number of police cars leading a large HGV along the motorway. On the back of the lorry sat a huge white blade which was securely strapped to the vehicle. A video taken from the passenger side of a nearby car shows the sheer scale of the load carried by the HGV.Many residents were quick to comment section of the video of the Facebook post which has so far racked up 144 likes.Another added: "Amazing! Well caught on camera."
