New police footage shows officers arresting a man who they said was caught on camera trying to abduct a young child inside a Miami Beach CVS back in February.
The footage obtained by NBC Miami on Wednesday also shows officers speaking with the child's father and a witness who helped police track down the suspect after the shocking crime.According to police, the 4-year-old child and his parents were leaving the pharmacy when a man — later identified as 26-year-old Nicolas Metternich Sternaman — violently grabbed the boy's neck from behind.Surveillance video shows the scary moments a man tried to kidnap a child at a CVS Pharmacy in Miami Beach.
Surveillance video from inside the store captured the encounter, which happened in a matter of seconds.
