Adrian Johnson was first seen riding without a number plate in Bestwood
Police bodycam footage has shown the moment an illegal motorcyclist who "could have killed someone" was pinned down and arrested. Adrian Johnson, 44, was seen riding without a number plate in Bestwood and he eventually sped off from officers, riding off through residential streets - as shown on the video above.
It came after Johnson had mounted the pavement and attempted to weave through a set of bollards down the alleyway. Johnson, of Radford Road, in Nottingham, then caused damage to a police car by repeatedly kicking a window from inside.Johnson later pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a license, and criminal damage.
"By riding through residential streets in the way he did he showed absolutely no regard to anyone else. I am pleased he has now been jailed and hope this sentence serves as a warning to others about the potential consequences of this type of riding."
