Michael Hillier and Rachel Fulstow were both found guilty of his murder
His killer, Michael Hillier, had been scoping out the address on Kilburn Drive for up to 10 hours beforehand.

The thread that you pull, after that was a house of cards that led to one person to another to another to CCTV to Michael Hillier to Rachel Fulstow.” After six hours and 44 minutes, jurors handed down unanimous guilty verdicts. The family of Liam Smith, who attended every single day of the trial, sobbed uncontrollably and shouted ‘yes’ and ‘thank you so much’.
