The Minnesota Vikings are planning to honor the late Khyree Jackson in a special way for the 2024 NFL season.
The sports world is currently mourning the death of Khyree Jackson, who was killed in a car accident on July 6. Jackson was killed along with 23-year-old Isaiah Hazel and 24-year-old Anthony Lytton, Jr. when their Dodger Charger was struck by an Infiniti.Read more: 2024 NFL Draftee Tragically Passes Away at Age of 24The Charger was struck and sent off the side of the road, where it reportedly struck many tree stumps. Jackson, Hazel, and Lytton all lost their lives.
The team says it's 'our understanding' that the NFLPA will support his estate as well.'Siefert also revealed the team plans to cover a 'significant' portion of the expenses needed for his funeral.'The Vikings will cover a 'significant' portion of the expenses for Khyree Jackson's funeral, per the team. It's scheduled for this Friday.
