SENATE Majority Leader Emmanuel Joel Villanueva announced on Sunday that he tested positive for Covid-19.
'Can't believe it that we got Covid-19 for the 3rd time,' the senator said in a text message.Villanueva said he started not feeling well last Thursday 'which initially I thought was just because of my knee injury.
''I took an antigen test today because I started feeling worse with fever-like symptoms and unfortunately, I tested positive,' he said.The senator said he already isolated himself and was waiting for the results of his RT-PCR test.Villanueva said he will work from home tomorrow.'We got three bills for third reading and hopefully we pass TPB [bill] tomorrow and other important measures,' he said.
