A violent gang who 'infested' Skegness with £1.5 million worth of cocaine have finally been brought to justice. 11 men and one woman were involved in a plot to supply up to 15kg of the Class A drug into Skegness, from Leicestershire, over a seven-month period between September 2019 and June 2020, Lincolnshire Live reports.
Jumaid Mulla was found to be the upstream supplier. Lewis Greenwood headed up the Leicester group and his father, Darryl Greenwood, played a significant role. Carl Benham led the Lincolnshire group. "This particular organised crime group were exploiting the draw of Skegness – which is frequented by locals and visitors alike – to infest this popular family tourist destination with the addiction, violence and associated crime such illicit drugs bring.
