Chris Evans gobsmacked as Jo Malone reveals she was fired from her job as a florist for chucking a bucket of water over her boss's head
VIRGIN Radio’s Chris Evans could hardly contain his disbelief as Jo Malone CBE revealed she’d once thrown a bucket of water over her boss’s head.
Introducing her as a “really lovely-smelling woman” and celebrating “25 years as a shopkeeper”, Chris asked the 55-year-old about her first job.“I loved it but I got fired from that because I tipped a bucket of water over somebody, which wasn’t very clever.”The CBE was on the radio to celebrate 25 years in businessElaborating a little more, the CBE said: “It was a very hot summers day and I’d been to the market to get all the flowers and I’d been told off ‘cause I hadn’t done it properly.
