Virginia man charged with making threat to kill Kamala Harris

Frank Lucio Carillo, 66, was charged with the crimes after making the threats last month, according to federal court filings. Security surrounding presidential candidates has been heightened after the assassination attempt on former President“Kamala Harris needs to be put on fire alive I will do it personally if no one else does it I want her to suffer a slow agonizing death,” Carillo allegedly wrote on GETTR, a conservative microblogging website, on July 27, per the filings.

Using records from GETTR and other databases, the FBI identified Carillo and found his residence in Winchester, Virginia. Investigators also found records of a firearm purchase he made in February.
