The sounds of a Mardi Gras parade filled the air and the streets of downtown Mobile , Wednesday night.But Wednesday night's procession was to welcome visitors with the National Institute for Jail Operations and Jail Con 24 .NBC 15 News spoke with the executive director of the group, Tate McCotter, who says their jobs are extremely stressful and often overlooked, and they really appreciate Mobile 's warm welcome..
"I mean, we've been together,” she said, “we've been eating, we've been conversating together, it's been really, really nice for the people who have come."
