This year marks the first time candidates are elected to the Bexar Appraisal District’s board.
The two final at-large seats for the Bexar Appraisal District board of directors are set following this weekend’s runoff election. Voters chose Erika Hizel for Place 2 and Robert Bruce for Place 3. In May, Naomi Elizabeth Miller won the Place 1 seat. This year marks the first time candidates have been elected to the Bexar Appraisal District ’s board.
Your Bexar County appraisal notice just arrived. Here’s what you need to know. Bruce founded United Audio Recording Productions and Boerne Stage Airfield, and is co-owner of Astro Super Bowl bowling alley. He also had the support of Bexar County Republican Party Chairman Jeff McManus. Bruce got 53% of the vote compared with G.L. “Larry” Lamborn’s 47%. Only 12,253 of Bexar County’s 1.3 million voters cast ballots in the June 15 runoff.
