Cineworld will be leaving The Cornerhouse cinema complex in Nottingham on February 2nd. The cinema will then undergo a substantial refurbishment before being replaced by Vue, known for its luxurious seating and refillable soft drinks. A Vue spokesperson confirmed the move, saying: 'We can confirm that we will be coming to The Cornerhouse , Nottingham .
We're very much looking forward to bringing guests the ultimate big screen experience later this year and will share more information in due course.' The Cornerhouse's owner, Box Property, has previously stated that the cinema will close temporarily for the refurbishment. Director Frankie Labbate shared: 'The cinema will close temporarily to undergo a substantial refurbishment that will deliver a state-of-the-art cinema for [Nottingham].'
