Rescue workers raced to the Lochnagar area after the pair ended up stuck in treacherous weather conditions on Friday.
Two walkers had to be rescued from the Cairngorms after getting into difficulty during Storm Kathleen.
It came as Scotland faced dreadful weather conditions amid Storm Kathleen, with winds of over 90mph recorded in the Cairngorms. Braemar MRT wrote on X : "Callout last night with @AberdeenMRT for 2 walkers in difficulty on Lochnagar. Located safe and well in the wee small hours.
