Walkers fans have been left scratching their heads in confusion as the much-loved Monster Munch Flamin' Hot flavour appeared to have disappeared from shop shelves without a trace.
Monster Munch, a snack that dates back to the Smith's Crisps days and was taken over by Walkers in 1995, originally offered three flavours - Roast Beef, Pickled Onion, and Saucy. The introduction of Flamin' Hot added a fiery twist that quickly became a hit with crisp lovers.In response to the query, Walkers clarified that the Flamin' Hot variety hadn't vanished but had undergone a 'makeover', now rebranded as Sweet and Spicy Flamin' Hot, as reported by the Daily Star.
Back in February 2021, Walkers launched Monster Munch Giants, supersizing the beloved snack, echoing a similar expansion they did with Wotsits Giants the previous year. Jonathan Roberts, senior brand manager at Walkers, said: "Walkers is committed to bringing fun and excitement to the savoury snacks category."
