Saber Interactive announces plans to add new PvP content to Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 in 2025, addressing concerns from players who felt neglected after the game's initial release. The update includes a new close-quarters map, custom lobbies similar to Halo's, and a Prestige Rank system.
Saber Interactive is continuing work on Warhammer 40K : Space Marine 2 . With a new Operation now in the game, the developer has revealed that it isn’t done with new PvE Operations in future updates. However, the studio has also heard complaints from PvP players who feel like they’ve been left behind. Space Marine 2 new PvP content In a statement to fans in the latest Community Update, Saber confirmed that new PvP content will be coming to the Warhammer game in 2025.
Alongside the new map, Saber is also adding custom PvP lobbies for players to set up in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. Similar to Halo custom games, players will be able to change team setups, allowing for snipers-only modes, as well as other modifiers. Alongside the new PvP modes, Saber also confirmed that Season 3 of Space Marine 2 will include Prestige Rank for players to earn. After hitting Max Rank, players will be able to continue leveling up, just like in CoD.
