Temperatures will be in the 80s for the next few days, but lows could fall back to the upper 40s by the middle of next week.
Here in Texas, we’re used to having some pretty warm weather during the Easter weekend. The next couple of days will be no different as high temperatures rise into the 80s both Saturday and Easter Sunday. But it’s still the first half of spring, and cold fronts still happen quite regularly during this time of the year. The next front is set to move through Texas Monday and Tuesday, and it may have you reaching for a jacket by the middle of next week, at least briefly.
Cold front arrives Monday A cold front will move through South Texas by Monday evening. Before that happens, though, temperatures will soar to the upper 80s in San Antonio. A few spots may even reach the low 90s, especially south of the city. As the front starts to move through Monday evening, thunderstorms will develop along the boundary. The highest storm chances will be in North Texas, but a 20% to 30% chance of rain remains as far south as San Antonio.
