Upper-level low has jogged a bit more east but still having an influence over parts of the area early today.
High pressure continues to build in from the west and will provide more sunshine, less cloud cover once we get into the afternoon, and less windy conditions today. There are still some clouds around this morning, especially eastern areas, but they should break up allowing for increasing sunshine. Winds expected out of the north-northwest 10-15 mph. Highs climb to the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
The warmest day of the week is Tuesday, with highs topping out in the low 70s. Clouds are on the increase with the next storm system approaching. Showers hold off until Wednesday morning. A better chance for a soaking rain is Thursday, as a low pressure system drags a cold front through the area. With the upper-level low hovering overhead Friday, a few lingering showers are still around, and it’s cooler Friday, but it is looking dry for the weekend.
