Warmer ocean waters off the NSW coast are drawing more bull sharks towards Sydney , and experts say higher sea temperatures mean the aggressive predators remain in the harbour for longer each year. Sea temperatures above 25 degrees and the timing of the attack may be factors in the shark encounter at Elizabeth Bay on Monday night, when a suspected bull shark bit a swimmer. The Department of Primary Industries has confirmed that it was indeed a bull shark.
