Anchorage could make a run at 50 later this week, for the first time since early OctoberPublished: Apr. 15, 2024 at 7:45 AM AKDTANCHORAGE, Alaska - As an extension of the pleasant weekend weather, beautiful, sunny and warm weather is on tap for the gulf coast region.
While things are quiet across the gulf coast region, active weather remains in place for Western Alaska. Numerous areas are under winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings. Due to the slow eastward progression of the ridge, expect several inches of snowfall out west. Three to 10 inches of accumulation can be expected, with a slight chance for some ice accumulation for areas north of the Seward Peninsula.
